Metallurgical coke a common name, usually covering blast furnace coke, foundry coke,ferroalloy coke and non-ferrous metal metallurgy coke.As almost 90% of metallurgical coke is used for blast furnace ironmaking, so sometimes call blast furnace coke as metallurgical coke.

Product application

Metallurgical coke used in blast furnace for ironmaking or blast furnace smelting of nonferrous metals like copper, lead, zinc, titanium, antimony, mercury etc. It works as deoxidizer, heating agent and stock column skeleton. Metallurgical coke also used in casting,chemical,calcium carbide and ferroalloy with different quality requirement.For example, coke for gasification used to make coal gas, have less requirement for strength but but it requires good reactivity and high ash melting point. We can provide all kinds of metallurgical coke according customers' different requirement.
